Group Demands REAL Investigation Into Mann

The Commonwealth Foundation in Harrisburg, Pa. does not trust Pennsylvania State University to investigate Climategate hockey sticker Michael Mann, because of the millions of dollars that his science research brings to the university.

The Commonwealth Foundation in Harrisburg, Pa. does not trust Pennsylvania State University to investigate Climategate hockey sticker Michael Mann, because of the millions of dollars that his research brings to the university. The foundation today released a 12-page policy brief which addresses Mann's Climategate emails, the significance of his role, and why the university has a conflict of interest in investigating him. Commonwealth held a press conference today at the state capitol about their report:

The hockey stick controversy and Climategate emails reveal that Michael Mann may have committed significant and intentional scientific misconduct, including improper data manipulation, inappropriately shielding research methods and results from others, and engaging in a number of forms of retaliation against those who publicly challenge his research results.

Were scientific misconduct a criminal matter, the aforementioned facts might be said to constitute “probable cause” for a search warrant. Analogously, these facts provide probable cause for an investigation into Mann’s conduct at PSU.

Although PSU has announced that it will investigate Climategate, given Mann’s financial and reputational value to the university, and the likely embarrassment resulting from an adverse finding concerning his conduct, there is good reason to believe that a PSU-managed investigation might amount to little more than a whitewash.

Commonwealth Foundation goes on to recommend that the state General Assembly commission an external, independent investigation. Pennsylvania State Senate Education Committee Chairman Jeffrey Piccola has already promised Penn State that if its investigation is a whitewash, he will do one that isn't.

Are you angry about this obvious RICO Act fraud and the national media's complicity in the cover-up, misinformation, reframing and misdirection of the issue and the related “carbon derivatives” market Obama’s Administration is spinning up? Take responsibility and take action. STOP all donations to the political party(s) responsible for this fraud. STOP donations to all environmental groups which funded this Global Warming propaganda campaign with our money, especially The Environmental Defense Fund. They have violated the public trust. KEEP donations local, close to home. MAKE donations to Oklahoma’s Senator Inhofe, the only politician to stand firmly against this obvious government/media coordinated information operation (propaganda) targeted at its own people. People that government leaders and employees are sworn to protect. WRITE your state and federal representatives demanding wall to wall investigations of government sponsored propaganda campaigns and demand indictments of those responsible. WRITE your state and federal Attorneys General demanding Al Gore and others conducting Global Warming/Climate Change racketeering and mail fraud operations be brought to justice, indicted, tried, convicted and jailed. Carbon is the stuff of life. He (Obama) who controls carbon, especially CO2, controls the world. Think of the consequences if you do nothing! For one, the UK is becoming the poster child for George Orwell’s “1984” and the US government’s sponsorship of this worldwide Global Warming propaganda campaign puts it in a class with the failed Soviet Union’s relentless violation of the basic human right to truthful government generated information. Given ClimateGate’s burgeoning revelations of outrageous government misconduct and massive covert misinformation, what are the chances that this Administration’s National Health Care sales campaign is anywhere near the truth?

This hoax, beginning with Clinton/Gore, and spread is pure evil.
Of course they couldn't come out to state that this hoax is basically to control world population, and to establish a 'world government'.
Taking a closer look at dems in charge right now demonstrates that there are many communist fans, including Obama.
Nothing will ever come of these investigation, because trillion of dollars have supported this monster.
The only way to correct all this evil is to find one person with integrity (next president) and reverse this hoax by one executive order after another.
The good thing that ever happened is the internet, the scoundrels are eventually found out.
The overseas blog 'eureferendum is doing a good job. following the money, updating every day. What they have found is beyong the scale of corruption.
As they said 'follow the money'.

Its time to bring this entire scam down. Now.

Serious people should write to their elected officials, call them, demand they stop this nonsense (they won't of course) and then start demonstrating in every conceivable way against this rubbish.

In my country (OZ) we've already made at least a start by getting rid of our soggy wet leftist opposition leader. In your country (the US) its time to do the same, only in reverse.

Get rid of your idiot Democrats before they bankrupt your country and take us all down with you.

Together, my American cousins, we can win this war against the tyranny and stupidity of our elected officials!

Cheers
James from OZ

I have written many letters to my senators and congress persons , so many times I am starting to have carpel tunnel . I do not white wash my intent, I am blunt and to the point , I have demanded it be investigated and also have demanded that if a wrong doing was uncovered to prosecute the ones who have scared school children to death over the climate change . I send them articles and reference materials so they can make up their own minds but we are faced I fear with a complicit government, and it will take some removing to get the job done . Climate depot look it up it has much information on this climate gate deal and you will be amazed at the stone walling that occurs each day . We are on our way to stopping this runaway train .

Just finished re-reading State of Fear by Michael Crichton which was his novel about the environmental movement and was written in 2003/2004. Six years later his take on the lies and scare tactics of the environmental movement is almost prophetic.

In fact, there is no way to find out the truth about environmental impact of human activity or not. Scientists are not neutral most of the time. We will see the truth in 20 or 30 years, or later. But the evil thing is to capitalize everything for politics or profit-greedyness in these time.

Of course they have a conflict of interest in investigating him, if his research brings millions of dollarsto the university. Anyways, by now it is almost impossible to find out the truth about the environmental impact they have. Maybe some day, but not for now.

I personally grow more and more convinced that the opposite is true...earth climate follows more or less predictable patterns...in the 70s it was global cooling, the french revolution may have been actually started by a freezing and starving crowd (Marie Antoinette's "Eat cake!! - though historically not correct), in London the Thames was frozen in June around 1850...

for me the error was not a phase of warming, but to connect man's (awful) pollution and a global trend...

the scientist will be freezing too in about 20-30 years...and they soon will start to be "send to the cold" - when this dogma cannot be upheld anymore...

and science is also kind of a religion...these scientist invested too much of their credibility to just turn around and say - I was wrong. All the power and influence their research brought them...no human will give up on that, only to be ridiculed...the last Global warming experts will have to die of age for this theory to die...

BUT: this theory was the beginning of a consciousness shift, stopping us from polluting our planet like Neanderthalers...so it is not all bad

my 2cts

Dan
