Climate Fairy Tales

Our friend Jeff Perren at Shaving Leviathan takes Harper Collins to task for trendy politicization of a search for new fiction. Matthew Vadum and Paul Chesser, take note. I guess the climate for new fiction by anybody NOT of the progressive persuasion is decidedly cold.

Freezing in England? Pshaw -- for five days now in South Louisiana the birdbath has been a solid block of ice -- NEVER in my time here has this happened. The ice is on the brick walks, and the rags we put on the outside waterpipes, and on the rooftops is the frost, ALL DAY -- and still STILL, these climate morons here insist the averages are going up. I'm saddened at innumeracy, at political toadies, at the whole rapscallion royalism of it all. OK, it's so cold again this night, 6th in a row, that I'm just aggravated to create warmth.

Opine.
Here on the Big Muddy, the ice is frozen across acres of wetland, created from the overflow of last springs floods. Climate Change, Global Warming, I don't think so.
bt
The Big Muddy has created the best farm land in the world, for centuries, doing the spring floods, hot summers, and fall recoveries.

Economics is the driver for the Gore Led Cap and Trade. Simply a shell game to enhance the coffers of his ilk. Granted, the Soros folks will skim off the trading, and the UE folks will support the Copenhagen social cocktail hours of discussion, all to no avail.
The USA Electorate, down the Middle School students understand the details. We are no longer the idiots we have been taken for. This same sham occurred in the 1970's. Remeber the Ozone layer, the ICE age due any day now....
Well, in the 21st century, we may well have the Ice age if the Big Muddy frozen fields are any indication.
