A new CNN
poll finds an uptick in support for the Senate health care
bill (coming mostly from Democrats), but Americans still
overwhelmingly oppose the legislation.
Released today, the poll finds that Americans oppose health care
legislation by a 56 percent to 42 percent margin, which is an
improvement from the 61 percent to 36 percent opposition in a
poll released
earlier this month.
According to CNN Polling Director Keating Holland: "Virtually all
the increase in support for the Senate health care bill has come
from Democrats, with a 10-point increase since early December."
In my opinion do try to fix what is not broke. What is the point
of having government health care when so many people oppose it.
Our government connot force this bill onto Americans without a
majority of the people wanting it. It is unconstitutional for the
government to force all Americans to do something they don't want
a part of.

I don't think you guys are reading these polls properly.
To be sure, a large number of Americans oppose the overall plan
and everything about it.
But a sizeable portion of those saying they disapprove of this
legislation are people who favor a public option or single payer.

There you go again, in typical liberal fashion, with the old
liberal answer to everything: "single payer" = "let someone else
pay for it".

If CNN polls gave 56% dissaproval then it is worse than that--far
worse. And, also if on the other hand it were the other way
around conventional wisdom would hold that there would be
muuuuuuuuuuccccchhhhhhhhhhh more transparency in this gig, true ?
I think it is.
