I Rand So Far Away

If I didn't know better, I'd say Kentucky Secretary of State Trey Grayson seemed a little reluctant to debate Rand Paul, his opponent in the Republican primary to replace Sen. Jim Bunning.

Idiots like Rand Paul don't deserve a forum for debate. And that includes his idiot father.

Well, he can talk at a 9/11 truther conference maybe. Other then that, forget it.

Cliff: I am a Rand Paul supporter, and I will have you know that I am not a 9/11 truther, nor do I believe in UFOs or whatever else you may falsely lead people to believe about any particular candidate you don't like. I supported Ron Paul in the 2008 elections, not because I agreed with him on every issue, but because he was an honest, highly principled champion of the Constitution. That may not mean anything to you, but I don't blindly follow Ron/Rand Paul. It is not the man, it is the message. Rand Paul has advocated the message of limited government under the Constitution better than any other candidate. This is why I support him. Good day.

Matt, for bitter-enders like Cliff, if you don't support bombing random villain of the moment country you are a traitor. Their support for saber-rattling interventionism and sky is falling alarmism is emotional rather than logical. That is why their main defense is calling the other side names instead of articulating a defense for the policy they support. But they are losing their hold among conservatives and they know it. They is why Ron Paul and Paulite candidates drive them so crazy. The right is trending toward non-intervention and their belligerent interventionism is going the way of the dinosaur.

"Idiots"

Wow Cliff. Thanks for that oh so helpful and profound contribution to this thread. Perhaps, just perhaps, you may want to actually make an intelligent argument next time. At least give it some thought.

Cliff,

Rand Paul an idiot? Ron Paul an "idiot father"?

I count an 11 term congressman, former presidential candidate, former USAF flight surgeon, OB-GYN who delivered approximately 4,000 babies, author of HR1207 - co-sponsored by 317 members of Congress - author of numerous reports on our nation's economic and governance systems - as a shining example of INTELLECT, PATRIOTISM and TRUE COURAGE in the face of a TSUNAMI of federal/military/industrial greed and stupidity.

Your characterization of Rand and Ron Paul as idiots speaks volumes about you.

Good Luck and God Bless - You Need Both.
