Let's see: There's the 13-0 record, the SEC Championship, and making Florida QB Tim Tebow cry. What else could the Crimson Tide accomplish?

Mark Ingram becomes the first player in University of Alabama history to win the Heisman Trophy.

Congratulations on an excellent season. I understand that the folks in Pasadena, Calif., have scheduled Alabama for a Jan. 7 exhibition game against some second-rate team before officially presenting the championship trophy to the Tide.

His dad, given his legal troubles, decided to bid the kid out to the highest bidder. The Tide is still paying the family, Congrats.

Mark Ingram committed to play Alabama LONG BEFORE Bobby Ingram [and in fact, Mark did so BECAUSE OF Bobby's prior football relationship with Nick Saban [Bobby played for Michigan who was then coached by Saban]. Bobby's legal troubles began long after Mark's committing to Alabama. The NAACP once proclaimed that A MIND IS A TERRIBLE THING TO WASTE, and in your case, it's entirely applicable, MORON!!!!!!!!!!!!

uhhhh there is a difference between michigan [where no relation to mark ever played] and michigan state [a cow college represented by thugs]. skipping out on msu was the best thing saban and mark ever did for themselves.

Luckily they aren't playing Utah in a bowl game this year. Would hate to see them get blown out again.

Oldefarte| 12.13.09 @ 12:53PM

Since prior to last year's Sugar Bowl loss to Utah, several Alabama assistant coaches were in the process of leaving for Auburn and Tennessee; their All American tackle, Andre Smith wal expelled form Alabama's team for talkiing to a NFL sport's agent; Florida's coach [Meyer] was burning up the telephone giving tips on how to beat Alabama to Utah's coach [Cunningham]; Mark Ingram's father [Bobby] was on the lamb after a criminal conviction [which affected his son's attitude/play]; and Alabama was pshchologically disappointed from losing the SEC Championship to Florida in Atlanta previously. That, MORON, is the reason why Utah beat Alabama; and FYI, Alabama is a 7 point favorite to beat Texas; Texas played a weak schedule [and should have lost to Nebraska]; and Alabama will destroy Texas and remain the BCS's #1 team therafter. Also, you should advise Colt McCoy on how to COUNT and that A THROWN FOOTBALL HAS TO HIT THE GROWN BEFORE THE GAME CLOCKS STOPS, instead of worrying about Alabama's loss last year to Utah, okay??????????

Colt will do his talkin' on the field--the only place that matters! GO TEXAS!!

I'm sure UA would take a Utah rematch in a heartbeat. Let's see UA's Outland winner is sent home for jacking around with agents; defensive coordinator is leaving, plus after a crushing loss to UF no one wanted to play in NO. Yeah Utah won, but if you honestly think it wouldn't be different this year; well keep hanging on to that one win in the last 10 years. Utah was strong this year weren't they? They really sustained their great finsih last year.

Amazing; about the only thing that is amazing about you is the lack of grey matter to fire a synapse. That supposed pay off really helped his dad didn't it? You douche.

Surely you wouldn't say this without substantial evidence, because only a real dickhead would do such a thing. Please cite your evidence.

Thank you.

Bugler| 12.14.09 @ 11:44AM

I'm still waiting for your evidence.

Oldefarte| 12.13.09 @ 12:59PM

Robert, Anybody would be crying is they had to constantly see Mount Cody and/or Rolando McClain coming after them, right? ROOOOOLLLLLLLLL TIDE!!!!!!!

Sean| 12.13.09 @ 4:03PM

Excuses, excuses that is all anyone hears for Alabama fans for their loss last year. I think TCU or BSU is better than Alabama or Texas.

Big Daddy| 12.13.09 @ 7:01PM

Snort! What do you know, dope? Ever played any football, or are you just another big mouthed, numb-nutted armchair quarterback?

Your numbers are legion.

Richard Baker| 12.14.09 @ 8:07AM

Gentlemen, please! War and football draw the biggest crowds.

COnservative Bob| 12.14.09 @ 11:00AM

Damn from the comments here you would think someone had made improper advances at someone else’s wife…
It’s a game.

Thatbeing said… Roolllllllll Tide!!!!!!!!

I look forward to the game and if both teams play as they did in their last appearances Bama will emerge victorious.

Derek Leaberry| 12.14.09 @ 11:34AM

What was Ingram's SAT score? If it was less than 1000, he does not belong at college.
