Tiger Woods' Real Sin

Acknowledging his multiracial background in an interview with Oprah Winfrey twelve years ago.

If it had been written by the late Sam Francis, people would recognize this kind of commentary for what it is.

In "Slaves in the Family" by Edward Ball, he describes how slave-owners in SC studied the ethnicity of their human property, and were proud of their knowledge of tribal distinctions, as if they were discussing racehorses. Articles like the one cited by Mr. Antle are in the same vein.

So, the writer is saying that, if Tiger had struck the pose of a black militant ten years ago, black Americans would be making excuses for him today?

Roy| 12.11.09 @ 5:56PM

Well, maybe not black Americans in general, but race card activists certainly.

The parallels between Tiger and Obama are many. A carefully media crafted and sponsor protected public image obscuring a morally bankrupt, mean and arrogant person underneath. Tiger is an excellent golfer and Obama an world class liar. One can only hope that Obama's corporate sponsors too will terminate their agreements with him when his actions start to impact their books.

Racial consciousness for me (Terence Moore) but not for thee (white people.) This is pure unadulterated Cultural Marxism.

I'm not sure I get the Sam Francis reference though. Francis was unencumbered by political correctness, and he would have called this for exactly what it is, Cultural Marxism. And this is a good thing that should be applauded by conservatives regardless of what they may think of Francis' policy prescriptions on the whole.

It is sad that Sam Francis is not alive today to comment on these farcical days in which we live. I can only hope he is explaining it all to St. Peter in heaven between drags of Pall Malls.

Cheap neo-con shot at Sam Francis.

Francis wouldn't parse somebody's personal moral bankruptcy based on race.

Red Phillips| 12.12.09 @ 8:42AM

But the author is not a neocon. That is why I can't figure out the reference.

Similar to OJ, Vick, and yes, THE MESSIAH; I guess that the old saying applies that YOU CAN TAKE THEM OUT OF THE GOLF COURSE WOODS; BUT YOU CAN'T TAKE THE GOLF COURSE WOODS OUT OF THEM!!!!!

Oldefarter: Spitzer, Sanford, Ensign, McGreevey, Frank, Foley, Vitter, Craig...and wait for it--America's nonpareil Political Pervert Prince, shameless Billy Boy Clinton.

White boys all; seems to me all of you guys have plenty of "Golf Course Woods" in you!

I read part of Terrence Moore's garbage and stopped. As a black man in America, I did not care what Tiger Woods called himself, and in fact I was happy that he chose not to self identify as black. Why should he deny his Asian heritage, just to make Terrence Moore happy? What, did he spring fully grown from Earl Woods' head with no help from his mother?

Tiger isn't JUST black and he shouldn't pretend like he is, so that on the off chance that something bad happened to him Jesse and Al would come running! Hell, the best thing for him now is not to be involved with those clowns because he has enough problems to deal with right now!

Oh yeah, Terrence Moore is a hack!
