If only the wish could be father to the thought! If this cop
killer case doesn't end Mike Huckabee's political career once and
for all, there is no justice.
Here's a GREAT blog post that rounds up Huck's horrible
record on pardons. Follow all the lengths within to read about
the huge numbers of clemencies he issued, the arrogance with
which he and his staff approached the issue, the lack of
transparency on the subject, and the tragic results from some of
his clemencies, including in the horrid case of Wayne DuMond, who
raped and raped and raped again. No amount of stagecraft
featuring backlit crosses and folksy aphorisms should hide
Huckabee's culpability for such horrendous judgment.
Don't let the door hit you on the way out, Huckster!

What a "simp!" He won't be missed as he has no leadership
qualities, and has shown extremely poor judgement.

Once again, I think that Huck, being a Baptist minister
oroginally by trade, is most probably of the mindset that only
God can be the ultimate JUDGE of anyone's 'sins'. This is true,
but that judgement only concerns humans' SOULS, whereas what
we're talking about here with these type cases are the 'BODIES'
of humans [and what they do here on earth with same]. In the
minds of POLITICALLY CORRECT politicians such as Huck, etc is the
false idea that to 'JUDGE IS HUMAN BUT TO FORGIVE IS DEVINE'.
Unfortionately, in FORGIVING these criminals, these politicians
become facilitators of future crime upon society by their
granting of clemency!!!!!!

Social conservatives need a voice and not a fraud. Hopefully this
will get his sorry sleep fest of a show off Fox. Adios Mike!

Why these violent felons are paroled/released early has always
been amazing to me. Huckabee is not the first or the last to
engage in this sort of daffy behavior.

Have you seen the way Fox News is circling the wagons around
Huckabee? O'Reilly had him on last night so that he could blame
the parole board for letting the guy out (as if the parole board
will keep a prisoner after a gov. grants clemency) and then to
lash out at the judges who set his bond in his latest crime! The
thing is, if he hadn't been let out of prison in Arkansas by Gov.
Huckabee, he couldn't have committed any more crimes against the
public. There's no defending this guy, no matter how hard Fox
News tries.

Apparently, Huckabee commuted this guy's sentence when he was 16
yrs. old and in prison for burglary and robbery. His orig.
sentence was for over 100 yrs. Huckabee had it commuted to
40-something.

It was only a matter of time. A governor cannot spend so much of
the peoples time and resources doling out favors to felons,
overruling thoughtful juries and judges and then manage to escape
the occasion of one coming back to bite him. I predict there will
be more. The odds are too great when you have 1033 clemencies,
commutations, etc.
I always wondered why so many criminals would be such top
priority to a governor. Turns out he could not resist requests
from his pastoral friends. I pity the felon who did not share
Huckabee's faith. Such never had a chance to have their petition
reviewed. Not only did he have poor judgment, but he
discriminated based on religion which is an outrageous failure to
uphold the constitution. He should never be president of the
America which was founded on religious freedom. This promotion of
fellow evangelicals in my mind kind of explains his entire
campaign strategy, doesn't it?

Sounds like someone's on a witch hunt to take Huckabee down even
before there's an election. If the Republican party doesn't unite
in some way, then there's always another 4 years for Obama. Think
about that. R

You know he must be feeling like crap over this. I say give him a
break he still has to wake up everyday. Washington State should
be part to blame in this too.
