Ahhh, we have sort of a problem here.

I'm sure this alleged email is just out of context, nothing to see here, there's really an implausible meaning that's more reasonable than the plain reading and all the rest of what we're told about the ClimateGate emails, but, well, I'm just saying (and, yes, you caught me trumping this up, emphases are indeed added):

From: "Mick Kelly" <m.kelly@xxxxxxxxx.xxx>

Subject: NOAA funding

Ninh
NOAA want to give us more money for the El Nino work with IGCN.
How much do we have left from the last budget? I reckon most has been spent but we need to show some left to cover the costs of the trip Roger didn't make and also the fees/equipment/computer money we haven't spent otherwise NOAA will be suspicious.
Politically this money may have to go through Simon's institute but there overhead rate is high so maybe not!
Best wishes
Mick

This one really isn't worth pointing out. Using up your annual budget through buying unnecessary stuff is absolutely universal in all grant-funded research in all fields of science. It's wasteful, but it has nothing to do with the real crimes of the climate gang.

Read it again.

They are claiming money was spent that, in fact, wasn't. That is called fraud.

For a bunch of scientists, these guys aren't very smart.

Just flood the blogsphere with these wonderful e-mails everyday for the next few years. Eventually the average american will "get it". Yeah I know they are kind of slow --but take a lesson from the Left playboo. The opposite of the Big Lie--called the Big Truth because you are not just giving your oppinion. You are backing oppinion up with verifiable e-mails--citing original sources--. Also the more the Left climatologists go crazy over this the better. People know crazy when they see it. Last night on Fox News a Green Bean was interviewed. His behavior was so wacky that he helped make the case against the fraud crowd's"Global Warming"
hysteria.

In addition, Fox News did this "revolt" a disservice by promoting it. People don't trust big business and Fox News is big business. ecommerce
