For the first time of his administration, President Obama's job approval rating has dropped to 49 percent in the Gallup poll. While it has been hovering in the low 50s for months now, the drop below 50 percent in the most well-known poll is an important symbolic moment that will add to the narrative that Obama is losing the support of the American people.
