Our government just issued new guidelines for breast cancer
screening which eliminate routine mammograms for women 40-49
years old, cut in half the frequency of mammograms for women
50-74, and eliminate them for women 75 or older. The American
Cancer Society and other experts condemned the change.
Isn’t this rationing exactly what the “Angry Mob” has been
worried about?
ObamaCare: We’re Scrooged By Asher Embry
Our government just said we screen for cancer way too much.
They think we’re spending too much dough on mammograms and
such.
(Our private doctor heard the news and summoned up a
swear.)
What happened to O’s constant praising of preventivecare?
And what comes next? What other routine healthcare will be
lost?
Perhaps Barack will rule that EKG’s aren’t worth the cost.
Who needs a new hip, MRI or blood test anyway?
We’ll wait until the Health Choices Commission has its say.
So, we just got a glimpse of what our healthcare holds in
store.
Like Scrooge, we got to see the future Congress voted for.
It’s clear the kind of treatment which ObamaCare will give. Wevote: it’s not the system under which we choose
to live.
THIS IS HOPE ??? It's change all right!! Welcome to the world of
Obamacare. My heart is already breaking for those who will not be
saved by early detection. I will not take up space with my
personal anecdote, just let me say I would not be writing this if
it were not for a mammogram I had in my early 30's.

Absolutely Outrageous! I guess we're headed back to the days of
bloodletting and leaches . . . .Is THIS what Obama meant by
"change we can believe in"? What is it with this administration
that just destroys everything (EVERYTHING) it touches??!!

So it plays out.......End of life issues dictated for babies, the
elderly, women, who is next in line for this type of "care". I
have yet to talk to a real doctor who supports this monster bill.
Kill it now!

So why did Obama bother putting up that enormous pink ribbon on
the north portico of the White House last month in honor of
Breast Cancer Awareness Month??!! Unbelievable!!!

Here is one of the dangers of handing control over ones health to
political hacks. They can simply impose 'new guidelines', having
nothing to do with established recommendations of the medical
community, while they claim it does. Prepare to be lied to on a
grand scale as the 'sufficient' becomes to much. These lies are
needed to cover up the base-lies being told now, that somehow
Govt.-mandates will Improve health care quality while lowering
costs. I refuse to believe that most politicians of even average
intelligence are so ignorant that they believe their own spin on
this threat, including Obama. He's not about his promised end
results, but the ideology he clings to, which is decidedly
Leftist. Obama believes govt. Should dictate in all things, so
doctors who recommend more frequent mammograms 'must be simply
padding their bank accounts' with frivolous tests, because the
ObamaShow has deemed them unnecessary. I look forward to new
guidelines on prostate cancer tests. Perhaps they should be
approved, then scheduled every other several years, excluding
leap year, after the age of 60, unless a confluence of other
medical problems makes the cost a bad bet on govts. part. This
will require a whole new field of experts, not doctors, but folks
highly educated in the "fair&equal; distribution' of health
care services by govt.
