Louisiana Attorney General Buddy Caldwell's investigators have raided ACORN's headquarters in New Orleans.
A warrant was executed at ACORN's office at 2609 Canal Street and not at 1024 Elysian Fields Avenue, a former funeral home that used to serve as the radical advocacy group's headquarters.
The cash-strapped group has put the Elysian Fields Avenue office up for sale.

What ever happened with the "re-funding" of these criminals?
Pete2| 11.6.09 @ 3:55PM
Looks like that is going to be used for bail money. If you meant defunding...that vote was good for only 30 days and it was supposed to be voted on again soon. Gee, all of a sudden, the real crooks are getting hammered and guess what...they're NOT republicans after all.

I thought that their DE-funding expired Oct 31 and that, absent a new vote, they were free to start accepting Obamabucks (our tax dollars) again.

Oops...hadn't read Matt's article on the main page yet...so on Dec 18 there has to be another vote?
"Meanwhile, Congress has extended the ban on federal funding for ACORN that lapsed at the end of October. "

Woo Hoo!! Let's kick these radical, anti-Americans' butts. Thanks for the update, Mr. Vadum....keep it up. I love ACORN stories where they are getting theirs. (Of course, we have a Justice Dept. run by an Acorn lover)...but we'll take the bad PR ..... for now!

The old ACORN HQ on Elysian Fields Ave. sold in mid-October, so it's completely out of the picture now.
