Call and Response

President Barack Obama told us he was going to call us out. Well, we answered the call.

And it looks like we muddied up his new jersey.Or, rather, we took his muddy new jersey and cleaned it up.

Meanwhile, the margin of Republican victories in Virginia also should send a shiver down Obama's political spine. He said he won't "abide" his adversaries. Well, he might just be forced to abide us.

Well.... I don't think so, Mr Hillyer.

These were local elections. Voters decided based on local conditions, issues, and so on.

You know, the whole world isn't trapped inside a Fox News fishbowl.

ggoblue| 11.4.09 @ 8:46AM

you certainly arent in a fox fishbowl...you are paddling up a river in africa tho....DENIAL

the 2010 election cycle begins today. you guys just lost 35 bluedogs and about 8 senators off the commie express....but please have pelosi schedule that vote ok? pretty please?

Oldefarte| 11.4.09 @ 12:41PM

Maybe you should NOT THINK SO, but simply THINK. Virginia and and New Jersey are just the beginning of the political 'shot across the bow' that will be seen in 2010. Liberalism via Obamaism is dead, due to his [and his associates, which Americans should have but didn't comprehend the connection pre 11/4/08] RADICALISM. Keep on sniffing the Obamaid from the NYT, CBS,ABC,Boston Globe,Chicago Tribune, etc; but prepare for the shock of your life coming forth with next year's elections!!!!!

Margie| 11.3.09 @ 11:42PM

"Meanwhile, the margin of Republican victories in Virginia also should send a shiver down Obama's political spine."

Damn straight. And let it also send a shiver down the political spines of all Third Partiers.

Joanie| 11.3.09 @ 11:45PM

..... And a shiver down the spines of all RINOs like Scozzafava.

Stop trying to shove liberals down our throats and you won't have to worry about third parties, numbskulls!

vtoric| 11.4.09 @ 12:17AM

Third parties are poison. Go ahead and drink up.
You're confused about a lot of things.
We're not pushing any liberals, dems or otherwise.
You need to sober up.

Margie| 11.8.09 @ 1:47PM

Dimwit "Joanie"~~ Chris Christie got elecetd in NJ no thanks to the holier-than-thou "principled" voters who chose to not vote for him because he's not conservative enough. Much like yourself. And we will continue electing Republicans no thanks to you.

Margie| 11.3.09 @ 11:48PM

Hey Joannie.. you must be dreamin'!

Time to wake up now.

Joanie| 11.3.09 @ 11:51PM

Your RINO girl, Scuzzyfava, got her enormous rear-end kicked off the ballot. She would have lost anyway; who needs democrat-lite when you can have the real thing? Crist is next.

NO MORE RINOS!!

Rick Davis| 11.3.09 @ 11:57PM

I have no idea why they put out Scozza. I'm sure there were many fine candidates in NY-23. Hoffman was a nice story, but didn't have a chance. A real mistake by the NY-23 GOP. But, Virginia and New Jersey matter a bunch more.

Margie| 11.4.09 @ 12:08AM

Rick,
This was a special election. The Republican Party bosses chose her, not the conservative base of the Party. But in doing this the Party bosses sure have gotten a clear message from us that that WASN'T a good idea!

victor| 11.4.09 @ 12:09AM

The corrupt local leaders made a deal with Dede and her Hubby, Ron McDougall, Jefferson-Lewis-St. Lawrence County Central Labor Council boss to rig the special election.

Margie| 11.4.09 @ 12:05AM

Shove it "Joannie" aka SOCon or whoever you are in reality. Slimy creep and liar that you are.

Victoria| 11.4.09 @ 1:15AM

No one's drinking here. A word to the wise, RINOs--listen up; squishy, weak repubs like you are not welcome in our party.

Unprincipled moderates need not apply.

Margie| 11.8.09 @ 1:49PM

Hey Super Troll, how many identities do you take in any given day?
We'll keep doing the work by getting Republicans elected while you sit on your rear end complaining.

Ken (Old Texican)| 11.3.09 @ 11:48PM

Margie, again...congratulations and God bless!

The godless communist liberals are now more pithed off than usual.

Heh! Watch 'em spin spin spin like the litle wimps they are.

Joanie| 11.3.09 @ 11:53PM

I bet Liberal Reader's head is spinning like a top tonight! So funny.

Margie| 11.4.09 @ 12:06AM

Yep Ken,
They're already spinning. See above post by "Joannie". LOL. Who's sorry now!

Victoria| 11.4.09 @ 1:19AM

I'm sure you're crying big old crocodile tears that your chunky RINO girl got booted off the republican ticket.

Good thing there are SOME principled republicans left, squishies like you would doom us to a third party.

Smitty| 11.3.09 @ 11:48PM

So funny! Obama wouldn't even watch the election returns tonight--chickensh!t liberal to the core.

Margie| 11.3.09 @ 11:51PM

Right? What a coward. It makes me sick though. This is supposed to be our Commander in Chief.
He needs to be impeached.

Joanie| 11.4.09 @ 1:21AM

Takes a coward to know one, RINO.

Margie| 11.4.09 @ 10:40AM

Tsk, tsk. I hope for your sake you decide to grow up some day soon, little person.

Joanie| 11.4.09 @ 2:40PM

NO MORE RINOS!!

Margie| 11.4.09 @ 2:47PM

What's a matter "Joanie troll"? Got a bug up your rear end because Christie won in NJ?

Joanie| 11.4.09 @ 7:30PM

I bet you're really ticked off because your gal, Scuzzyfava was kicked off the Republican ballot in Upstate New York. Now, there was a real RINO you could get behind, right? RINO lover.

Margie| 11.4.09 @ 9:24PM

Poor girl has a fixation. I hope you get help darlin'.

Joanie| 11.4.09 @ 11:46PM

My fixation is accountability; something you know nothing about, troll.

Margie| 11.7.09 @ 7:30PM

Accountability? Integrity? If you had an ounce of either one of those in your character sweetheart you wouldn't be a liar. As it is, you choose to follow me around from post to post accusing me of lies. You are a coward in truth, and a liar. Like I said in yet another area on this website, I'm sorry you are ill. You should get help.

john corzine| 11.4.09 @ 12:33PM

Dear Liberal reader, I know must be heart broken the gay marriage law got shot down in Maine. Don't worry honey, you keep on keeping on and maybe someday you will have your dream wedding
