Former President Bush made his debut as a speaker at the "Get Motivated" conference in Texas. His speech focused on the importance of making decisions and the fleeting nature of popularity. Bush should know. His last act was to motivate the American people to elect a Democratic president and Congress.

Fair enough, but I would welcome him back with open arms at this point given current happenings, wouldn't you? (to replace the Messiah, not to get elected for the next term, that is)

And the difference would be?

We would be mired in four Middle Eastern wars instead of two and a half.

I was more responding to the "And the difference would be?" comment...it is never worth the time engaging SLT or Bob or Herr Rolfenfuhrer.

Geez, Pete--NOOOO! Listening to W's speeches and press conferences was like hearing fingernails clawing and scratching over chalk boards--and we got ObaMAO & Co. anyway.

George the First was always reckoned
Vile, but viler George the Second.
And what mortal ever heard
Any good of George the Third,
But when from earth the Fourth descended
God be praised the Georges ended

George W shouldn't have screwed over Cheney, Scooter Libby and the border guards; all three incidents stuck in my craw and still do.
Feckless, feckless, feckless.

Still majorly ticked off about amnesty, too.

NO MORE BUSH PRESIDENTS --- EVER!!

Dear Mr. Antle,
