Isn't it amazing what a billion dollars will buy these days?

The Yankees have ruined baseball. I love the game of baseball, and played for many years, even as an adult on organized (non-professional) teams. I have not watched any of the post season, at all - I have no interest in watching the same teams (Philly, Anaheim, LA, NYY, BOSOX, et.al.) as the last few years vie for the title of Champion, when really, without a salary cap or revenue sharing, it is a contest of the size of each teams fan base, better settled by the Census Bureau in April.

I wish Baltimore still had a major league franchise.

I understand what you're saying. I used to root for the Hartford Whalers in that same spirit.
