The Politico features a
poll suggesting that the latest problem to face cap and trade
may be public concerns with the economy. According to this
survey, 62 percent believe "economic growth should be given
priority, even if the environment suffers to some extent" while
just 38 percent think "protection of the environment should be
given priority, even at the risk of curbing economic
growth."Climate change is a top priority for just 4 percent of
the American people, well behind the economy (45 percent),
government spending (21 percent), health care (20 percent), and
the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan (just 9 percent). The poll was
conducted by the Public Strategies' Research Practice Group.

"Climate change is a top priority for just 4 percent of the American people"
Does it say who the 4% are? Could they be Goldman Sachs derivative writers?
