Obilivously, Ms. Dunn is a result of another "failure" for the Obama vetting process. She doesn't mind the media as long as it is only reporting what she wants. If not, then she claims they are not a true reporting network. It sure would be nice if the Obama administration would stop stepping on the American right to free speech (aka town hall meetings that were called racists) or freedom of the press (going after Fox News). If you can't take run with the big dogs without whinning Ms. Dunn, then you might want to stay on the porch!

Oh my, aren't we smart. That kind of thinking reminds me of George Bush's statement that "you're either with us or against us", which enraged most of our allies, who slowly pulled out of Iraq when they realized they'd be pulled into a scam. Simpletons think like that. (Another example of this kind of simplistic thinking: If they're not against us, they must be on our side). I give you one simpleminded dog credit for that one. At least it's one step above swine thought.

Well, the press is an important part of our system, and while it can cut both ways, the definintion of what constitutes a legitimate press seems to be one that is tested case by case in a court of law. Unless they are violating the law with libel, defamation, etc. they are free to operate.

I do believe it was Fox Business that sued under the FOIA to get information about TARP. They had to sue the most transparent administration and won.

So, for the time being, it is not the WH, Congress, nor the press that is the arbitor of what information falls under freedom of the press, but, it seems, that other branch, the unelected one, the Court.

What is happening to our freedoms? Cannot our citizens of this great country see what our government is coming to? Forget what party you belong to, just look at what is happening in Washington and ask yourself, is this what freedom really means to you? Crooks in the White House running our country....They call us racists, they refer to us as mobs, they want to stuff a health reform down our throats that they have not bothered to read....they refuse to stand up to our enemies with force. They think by talking they can stop them...God help us!

Fox should be honored. It is legitimate to ask if Fox is classified an opponent, then what category does CNN and all the other usual suspects belong?
This action by the White House will further strengthen and unify their opposition. It seems to me these Obama sycophants do not wish to fairly face any disagreement concerning their leader’s demands, and Fox is one of the few who offer a soapbox for this perceived antagonism. I hope this will add to the current administration’s undoing and bring about the change we can believe in.

Fox News can also be called, The Jesus Channel/ GOP TV/ The Glorious Official Republican Government News Network.

While Fox News has the highest ratings, it’s also the same group of people that make up just 20% of America’s electorate… the far right-wing of the GOP.

There will always be an audience for the far right and that’s Rupert Murdock’s Fox News demographic.

Rupert keeps them frothing at the mouth with manufactured fear and GOP talking-points, phony outrage.

Fox is also a right-wing echo chamber.. notice that when “The Wall Street Journal”, “The Weekly Standard” people are on Fox News there’s never disclosure that these people are all Rupert Murdock employees.

Imagine if MSNBC or CNN did this… I don’t know how Fox News gets way with constantly recycling Rupert Murdock’s employees (sockpuppets) from his various media properties.

There’s hardly a word on the “MSM” about Murdock’s world wide (far right-wing) media empire.

Murdock has a lot of influence, example: all of his various sockpuppets, Hannity, Beck, etc, and all of Murdock’s worldwide media holdings trash global warming, President Obama and anything else right-wing Rupert Murdock dislikes.

I think that press and especially individual journalists are deathly afraid of Rupert Murdock and what he can do to them professionally.

Rupert Murdock is the new William Randolph Hearst.

Another thing, Sarah Palin, who is a favorite among the Faux News/ Right-wing crowd is getting Rupert Murdock’s wingnut welfare.

Palin’s (Rupert Murdock’s ghostwriter) book publisher is HarperCollins… a wholly owned Rupert Murdock subsidiary, you ‘betcha.

Also, there should be an award given to the guy that writes the ominous, scary music for Fox News... he's obviously a full-time employee.

No seriously... whenever there's a special where Rupert Murdock wants to convince Americans that Saddam Hussein has WMD, or that Iran/North Korea is going to attack America tomorrow, or a Hannity or Beck segment where they want to scare their right-wing audience (even more) there's always that ominous music to go along with the story.

It's like a scary GOP music video.

I mean, didn't those morons in the White House just recently make an open attack on Fox News? That's pretty much an open admission right there of alliance with the rest of the media, since the rest of the media is also attacking Fox.

Yeah, the left-stream media are all in the tank for their Messiah. Why should they pretend otherwise anymore? No one was buying what they were selling.

Fox news is to be congratulated for upsetting the white house and it should get a Nobel Prize for being the only TV media to buck the system. In addition it is also the TV station that actually has differing views or debate,scream at each other or whatever.
So to those who think Fox news only atttracts a small percentage of the far right --you are wrong. That is because some of us can see thru the BS of CNN,CNBC,PBS you name it. Really sprouting a Party line that sounds like the Comintern of the 1930s is easy to spot--for those of us who studied history.
