Stunning. Just read that the President is "humbled" by this occasion. Fat chance.

Like the Olympics issue, this is legitimate fodder for satirists and comedians.

It does, in a funny way, make Obama look silly to win this prize without having spent a year in office.

But for conservatives to play this as some sort of bona fide DEFEAT for the U.S.A. is very strange and ludicrous.

It is more evidence that conservatives are losing the ability to distinguish between serious issues on which they have important arguments to make and petty sandbox stuff that the American people forgets as soon it washes off cable news.

Don't let yourselves become rodeo clowns, is my advice.
