Iran is planning to use new centrifuges at its recently-disclosed
nuclear site that can enrich uranium at double or triple the rate
of other centrifuges, Reuters reports,
citing an article from an Iranian newspaper.
"We have put our effort on research and development of new
machines in the past two or three months so that we would be able
to produce machines with high efficiency and completely
indigenous," Ali Akbar Salehi, Iran's head atomic energy official
told the newspaper in an interview.
