To be remade in the image of
John McCain. That's how Republicans defeated Barack Obama in
2008, wasn't it? I'm also not sure that payback for endorsers is
the best way to identify the next generation of Republican
leadership.
Of course, Obama won in 2008 by pretending to be moderate. And
I'm not sure that any Republican would have won, especially with
the financial crisis. That was going to be blamed on Republicans.
