In the latest blow to the coalition behind cap and trade, small oil refiners who broke with the oil industry to support the Waxman-Markey energy bill -- after House Democrats added a provision favorable to them -- now oppose it advancing in the Senate. The Hill quotes one such company's CEO as saying, "We agreed only that the legislative process should move forward, with a view toward working subsequently with the Senate. We did not agree to support H.R. 2454."

Well, good. Perhaps those whose eyes have been closed about this administration are becoming more worried about the future of the country than what they might gain out of certain legislation. Times are different -- it's not just a "you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours" thing anymore. This is a "you support a socialist/fascist/communist (which one -- we don't know) 0r you support a capitalist one." That's the choice here, all you business folks, so look that in the eye and decide where you stand.
