"Jackass"

Yes, President Obama calling Kanye West a "jackass" for his antics at the VMA is to his credit. We should be glad that we have a president who's not afraid to calls'em like he sees'em when it comes to pop culture.

But then again he gets points deducted for apparently not realizing what was immediately obvious to me: the incident in question, when Kanye West grabbed the microphone from Taylor Swift during her acceptance speech, was staged.

You'd think that if you spent all your time surrounded by the theatrics of DC politicians, you would know not to trust MTV.

'WHO CARES' what Obama thinks about West? More importantly, what does Obama think about Van Jones???????????????

And there was a shooter on the grassy knoll, and the moon landing was faked, and Bush knew about 9/11, and Obama was really born in Indonesia, etc., etc.

I saw it, and it wasn't staged. At the very minimum, to do this, Swift would have had to have known that she was going to win in advance, and if the shock on her face when they announced the winner was faked, then forget moon men--she could be winning Oscars.

If you think it was faked, one question: what could possibly motivate any of the participants to take part in this?
