Sept. 8 Is National Skip School for Freedom Day

Michelle Malkin issues a hallway pass so your kid can cut class during the Obama Mass Indoctrination on Tuesday.

Rather than merely skipping just that one period, however, Steve "VodkaPundit" Green advocates ditching the whole day -- an idea endorsed by a new ad hoc organization, Hoodlums for Homeschooling. Somehow, I suspect even Ferris Bueller's teacher might approve of this plan.

Just have the little monsters skip school around Columbus Day so they wont feel frightfully guilty about Columbus.
But Pizarro and Cortez? they were merely caucasian not white.

Here in Texas, if a kiddo doesn't show up for school, the school district gets "docked" it's pay for that student. Heh!

Neverthless, friends all over our State are simply keeping their children home.

I think it would be cool to watch the address in Mr. Stein's class...

Thankfully we all know no one on the right would ever construct a personality cult around a political figure, right?

…Stuff I'm tired of, Suffer the Little Children, The S Word ) September 8, the day of Obama’s National Super-De-Duper Indoctrination Speech to our school children, has just been dubbed National Skip Day. Like kids need another reason to ditch. Cool kids, get your hall pass here. I guess Allahpundit doesn’t have kids of his own (I don’t know, I’m only guessing) – if he did,…

Homeschool your kids and remove the non-education curriculum from the equation. Your kids would be able to read, write, and perform arithmetic unlike the ongoing disaster occurring in our "public schools".

You can shove your links wherever you want, Toddard.

Are you for this or against this? What do you think about homeschooling. I'm for it.

S.L. Toddard| 9.4.09 @ 7:08AM

I am against venerating the president as some sort of religious warrior god as pioneered by Bush supporters, I am against this less malignant version adopted by the Obamabots and and 100% for home schooling. In fact I am in favor of the eventual eradication of the public school system.

Dave Lincoln| 9.4.09 @ 10:08PM

Glad to hear it, S.L. about the homeshcooling and also eradification of gov't schools. I am in favor of getting back to the US Constitution on this, which says that the Federal Gov't should not be involved in education (B.O.R. Amend X). It should be left up to the states, some of which may run schools and some not.

I just think your memory is off regarding people venerating Bush (Sr. or Jr, for that matter). The left hated him with a passion - why, I do not rightly know, since he was mostly on their side. The right was tired of him ass-kissing the left and wimping out any anything substantial besides the wars (yes a neo-con thing, when I say "the right" there). Nobody really liked his policies in total, so I don't see who was left to venerate him (his dogs? That's what dogs do, you can't blame them - are they what's in your important video?) .

The Obama thing is getting out of hand. Take your kids out of school that day and don't ever let them go back.
