The Spectacle Blog

The economic crisis and the advent of Obamaism seems to consume most of the oxygen in conservative discussion nowadays, but in case you haven't noticed, popular culture continues to circle the drain.

New toy for girls? Pole-Dance Stripper Doll!

Also, don't miss the nipple-tassle T-shirt for toddlers, the impending motherhood of Hef's ex-girlfriend, and other signs that the end is near:

Today's cultural forecast: Raging epidemics of abuse, perversion, disease and addiction, with a 40% chance of widely scattered fire and brimstone.

The revolution will not be televised. However, the apocalypse will be blogged.

Rob,
not to flatter, but you're a very bright fellow, so you should know by now pedophilia is ALREADY thoroughly mainstreamed.
It is present, not future tense.
You think authorities are doing anything substantial about (it appears mostly Ukrainian) childporn?
Guess again. The Russkies, as always, are starved for foreign currency, and what better way to get the dough? That was not to be facetious, cp IS the best way to get rich; little overhead, besides 'salaries', the producers don't have to add anything, they subtract-- it is the opposite of high fashion, clothing is removed not worn.
The pedophile singularity is coming.
Now as to actual molesting, the 'progress' is slower. If as many children were being molested as are posing in the altogether, then the singularity would be past tense. Having said that, molestation is much more accepted now-- and probably more common, though liars figure and figures lie.
To hell with statisticians.
I don't talk to young people much anymore, edukation has been, and is, too substandard; but when I do chat with the younger set it is a shock. "My husband watches porn DVDs with my kids and then sleeps with them."
And she's the married one.
"My old boyfriend was from the Middle East, he slept with my kids and then went back home."
Did you kick him out?
"No, he just wanted to go back to his real family."

I talked to only two young mothers in the last year-- the above.
More and more I like to stay home and read the bible or listen to Focus on the Family.
Activities that aren't MAINSTREAM.
it's being a rebel, you see.
I ought to apologize for having said some things about Jacko that were hyperbole-- only libs today can be hyperbolic. They can vent all they want, they are human, sensitive, SEARCHING.
Searching for what? young girls?
boys?
Jacko wasn't (nor was Ted) vicious. Jacko was a lamb. But as I wrote before, you touch a black child the wrong way and his kin might break your fingers. Blacks are strong people. And, might it be added just in passing (again) there is no hard evidence Jacko ever molested a child. But his kissy-huggy pajama parties were legendary.

So why do I write all this? liberal guilt. I grew up being told any-- and I mean ANY sex was fair game. I haven't molested anyone since playing doctor as a kid during the Great Hippie Era. Being told by untame shrinks of that era, the forerunners of today's extremely sophisticated shrinks, that 'eveyone is attracted to children' was the main cause of the moral dissonance.
But conservatives know that is everyone does something, no one can do something.
So in conclusion, pedophilia, as distinct from actual molesting-- though taking a child's clothes off for a camera is damn close to molesting-- is here to stay.
Bill Kristol offered the only solution to conservatives, if many will exist in the future: withdraw, the game is over. Only big government can stop peds and molesters, and government is too busy with imaginary universal healthcare paid for by nonexistent funds.

BTW, of course Ukrainians and Russkies aren't one and the same.
But they often work together in "business" partnerships.
