Mitt Romney won't run for Senate again. "Gov. Romney's focus right now is on helping other Republicans run for office, and that is how he will be spending his time," spokesman Eric Fehnstrom told Politico. Romney's numbers in the state took a hit by the end of his term and he did not seek reelection in 2006, but they have rebounded somewhat during Deval Patrick's tenure. Of course, Romney is likely to make another run for the Republican presidential nomination in 2012.

No use in the Mittster running for something that:

A: he could actually win
B: might be a major step up in the representation coming out of the Peoples Republic of Taxachusettes.
C: would actually be a great move for the national outlook of the GOP.

BUT NOOO.. the Mittster wants to buy the presidency in 2012.... Right. Sure... Just what the country is going to want and need in 2012, a super rich limosine RINO from Massechusettes.

Mitt Romney and his ilk are a continuing saga of the infliction of mediocre politicians whose chief talent is self-promotion, on the GOP.

Dear Mitt,

You are a Yankee [I was polite I left of the d-word] RINO stay the heck on your side of the Mason-Dixon and stop dragging your carpetbag out. Inflict your self-importance on your own people and leave the rest of us alone.

Mitt has his Mass healthcare disaster to wear around his neck for the rest of his political life. He will never be president because of this. Massachusetts: The highest health insurance costs in the country. Thanks Mitt.
