Sunday's Boston Globe had an interesting
profile of Boston mayor Thomas Menino and his governing
strategy. This strategy could be described as "hands-on," as in
the article, or more simply as tyrannical. A representative
sample:
[Menino] said he wants the flexibility and discretion to govern
Boston’s diverse and changing neighborhoods as he sees fit.
“If you have hard-and-fast rules,’’ he said, “it’s not going to
work.’’
It's amazing that city politics allow people like Menino not only
to grasp so much power, but also to revel openly in it in the
press.
The Majority of Mass-holes want nothing more than to be ruled as
subjects. This may be surprising to us outsiders, but is quite
comfortable to the surfs of the Mass colony. Maybe their Senator
will make a miraculous recovery and someday they can all pray to
Saint Theodore for all of their health care needs. ****notice I
stated "majority"****

To anyone from Massachusetts, is it true that the children's
hospitals give out "Teddy" dolls to all of the sick children?
