Some more fun with Arlen Specter. He is generally well received by this liberal audience as he recites his new lines as a Democratic senator, but Specter gets some laughs for a climate change answer that shows he's still a little rusty at playing netroots darling.

Good grief.

The notion of term limits on members of the Senate is looking better and better with each passing day.

In this clip, Specter exemplifies all that is hypocritical, decrepit and inept with a lot of senior members of the Senate.

And we want these people to run healthcare?? God help us...

That sound in his voice or tone or hesitation, that must be same as what you hear when someone sells their soul. What a pathetic loser. The laughter did him in, he heard it. He will hear it again and again when he is alone with his fears and failures. His only personal salvation will be to step down immediately, apologize and work tirelessly toward term limits.

Aww, I guess he means well... or the guy who writes his dialogues means well... or the guy who writes for him wants him to look like he means well, but now fears his future career has gone down the pan because his boss can't read right.
