Time asks if Joe Sestak can beat Arlen Specter in the Pennsylvania's Democratic primary. I'm increasingly convinced the answer is yes. It will take resources to overcome the party establishment, but Specter's ideological zig-zagging and commitment to no principle higher than the idea that there must be a Sen. Arlen Specter has gotten ridiculous enough to irritate voters across the political spectrum.

I also believe that Specter's political career is over. He looked so pathetic yesterday, I almost felt sorry for him.

Arlen Sphincter's career is over. Sestak will clobber him because the Democratic Party establishment doesn't truly support Sphincter.

I thought Specter was toast until I saw Sestak on the news today. I think Spec might be able to beat him. I think Toomey has a very good chance of beating either one of them if he gets strong support from from the Senatorial election comittee. I wouldn't bet on it though. Not with that outfits track record.

There is no more dangerous place to be than between Arlen Specter and a TV camera.
