The White House is sure to spend today touting this morning's unemployment numbers, showing the economy losing a better than expected 247,000 jobs, with the unemployment rate dipping to 9.4 percent in July, from 9.5 percent in June. The reason why the unemployment rate fell even though the economy lost jobs is that there were 796,000 discouraged workers in July, which means they dropped out of the labor force because of weak job prospects, so they aren't reflected in the unemployment rate. At the same time, the labor participation rate declined by .2 percent to 65.5 percent.

The unemployment rate dropped?

Oh, that's because Obama's Nazi party is employing Republicans in work camps throughout the midwest.

Also, young people are being rounded up and shipped off to reeducation camps in Minnesota.

Also, the pool of unemployed has fallen since Democrats began mass executions of people without working papers.

The retired are no longer a problem either, since the Democratic health plan provides for a widespread Euthanasia program for them.

Obama, a racist fascist dictator, has been reported to execute people himself -- with his bare hands. Michelle and the kids like to watch.

His usual favorites are white women. We all know what black men like to do to white women. Yep, he takes their cuffs and gags off, because he likes to hear them scream.

But he's no different than any liberal. They all enjoy killing people, eating their flesh, and worshiping Satan. That's because they're communists, and terrorists, and racists, and fascist dictators.

See, I've been reading the American Spectator. I'm glad to know the Truth finally about what's happening in America.

Now, you'll excuse me, I've got to get my room covered in tin-foil before the Black Helicopters come to take me away!

Lib I had some hope for you being pleasant, but they are slipping away. I'm sure you're crushed. The best I can say is you are far from the worst or only raver that posts here.

Tim --

What's so bad for what I've posted above? It's what 75% of what I'm reading here and listening to on right wing radio sounds like.

Liberal Reader.

I'm with Tim. I've read some of your stuff, and you usually had something of interest to say. Lately, not so much.

By the way, while BHO is not a facist, in that he is not a dictator, he is supporting a lot of facist principles. Government ownership of health care, government ownership of automotive production, and government ownership of banks to name a few. He is following in the footsteps of our nation's greatest facist, FDR, who gave us Social Security and the Blue Eagle program.

For what it is worth, I actually am agnostic about BHO's racism, but that doesn't mean that he hasn't surrounded himself with racists. Eric Holder dropped the case against the black panthers who had engaged in the most flagrant voter intimidation in decades. Standing around in military gear holding a nighstick outside a polling place. I'm sorry, Lib, but I do think this is actionable. Since Eric Holder dropped the case, I do think the worst of him. And yes, BHO appointed him, so that is not a good reflection. BHO's buddy, Henry Louis Gates, has made a profession out of being a perpetually outraged black man. Let's just say that as far as BHO ushering in a postracial utopia, I'm disappointed.

Lib, I know that things are hard right now. You guys own the congressional and executive branches of the government, and you are still having a hard time making the changes you were so eagerly anticipating. Join the club. When GWB came in, we were in much the same position, and those damned Republicans weren't able to get social security reform, health insurance vouchers, or drilling in ANWAR through. I was disappointed as well.

Lib, please, quit being such a putz, post something that is worth reading (cuz I know you can), or just post elsewhere. And, be prepared for more disappointments from BHO down the road. He's a politician, not the messiah.

"It's what 75% of what I'm reading here and listening to on right wing radio sounds like."

You sure you're not listening to archives of Air America during Bush's presidency?

L Ross --

I don't have time to respond to your entire post, which was admirably sober -- something I'm not seeing very much of around here lately.

About Gates: Professor Gates has NOT made a living being "an outraged black man." It's just not true. Gates is a temperate, down to earth scholar.

Obama is not a fascist. You are correct. I'm glad we've gotten this far.

In Nazi Germany, they'll built a highway. If Obama calls for building a highway, you'll cite that as evidence he's a Nazi.

It's a bad argument. Limbaugh's speech the other day was RIDDLED with falsehoods and half-truths.

(By the way, the Nazis were NOT anti-smoking and they cared NOTHING for animal rights. Just to take the two stupidest things Rush said.)

EVERY industrialized democracy in the world has some form of social medicine accept the United States.

Does this mean that they are all fascist Nazis?

These arguments are really stupid. So stupid in fact that they cause us to wonder what's really behind them. Because it's something that's afraid to announce itself by it's real name -- and for that, we have to wonder again, why.

Tim| 8.7.09 @ 1:59PM

Civilization, in fact, grows more and more maudlin and hysterical; especially under democracy it tends to degenerate into a mere combat of crazes; the whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by an endless series of hobgoblins, most of them imaginary.

I think it is becoming obvious that the Obama administration is clueless about everything except promoting their leftwing agenda. They want government control over the economy and they don't care how much debt and unemployment we have to go through to get it. We can also thank the neocons for helping us down this road. Without Neocons like GWB this wouldn't be possible.
