I like her, but I wrote her off when she quit. Maybe she can make a comeback, I wouldn't bet money against her, but such a comeback would bigger than Clinton's in 1992 or any other in recent memory.

Hey, all who read this. Don't make the same mistake that OBEY did. Don't Judge before you have all of the facts. Sara was under a great deal of mounting costs from lawsuits that she was winning but was paying for out of her own pocket. Alaska does not pay for legal aid for their Governer on personal matters. Not like Wisconsin's Gov Doyle who gives his legal thug team a work out.

Andy:
"The numbers are in. Alaska’s response to ethics allegations and requests for information concerning the conduct of soon-to-be-ex-governor Sarah Palin has cost the state $1.9 million...The spreadsheet released Wednesday shows that most of the $1.9 million ... is for staff time of state attorneys and other salaried state employees, who would have been paid anyway. "
So how was this bankrupting her again? The state was paying, wasn't it?

The state will have spent over $2.0 million dollars by the time the last frivious complaints are dismissed. That is just what the taxpayer had to pay to investigate and process these ethics complaints. Palin has had to answer the complaints using her personal lawyers out of her own pocket. Her estimated costs were as much as a half-million dollars.

So, Andy, you are simply wrong.

As Governor, Sarah was a sitting duck for these stupid lib inspired lawsuits--it was a smart move for her and for Alaska to resign.

She's a much bigger force for Conservatism now that she's freed up from her day job: And, God knows, we need all the help we can get!
