No Obama Apology

Not apologizing for his crystal clear charge that Sergeant James Crowley and the Cambridge Police Department “acted stupidly,” Obama today said: “In my choice of words, I unfortunately gave the impression that I was maligning” them.

No Obama Apology
By Asher Embry

As O has gone around the world
Apologies he’s often hurled.
Ashamed of things he thinks we’ve done;
Expressed regrets to everyone.

But when the guilty one is him
No “pardon” goes to Sergeant Jim.
Says Cambridge cops act “stupidly”
A word not meant “maligning”-ly.

And what of Skip’s false charge of race
Does O think Gates behaved off base?
Perhaps it should have tipped Obama
That Gates made taunts at Crowley’s mama.

A “teaching moment” this might be;
Which O could use much more than we.

Obama only came out to walk back his slam on Officer Crowley and the Cambridge Police when it became politically expedient . . . and when he realized he picked on the wrong guy! It's outrageous how he apologizes (on our behalf) to thugs around the world but not to Boston's finest? Why is Obama always blaming us for "misunderstanding" his words? He couldn't have been clearer in stating the "Cambridge Police acted stupidly." And why is he always the first to play the race card? Post-racial, my ass!

No Obama apology?

What are you, in the seventh grade?

Thy guy used language that was a little rough and probably ill-considered, but in a time of two wars and a tanking apology, you're worried if he hurt a Boston cop's feelings?

I think you need to grow the hell up -- as do the rest of the whiners around here.

Today on the tube I watched his mouth move and found that he did not apologize. He may have done so with Crowley. But he didn't play the race card with Crowley, he did with me and the rest of the world. That required him to publicly apologize. As usual, instead of saying something of substance he mumbled on for several minutes. And to their credit, in the WH briefing that Hussein interfered with, his mouthpiece, Gibbs, would not say whether Hussein apologized to Crowley. Hussein instead said that he invited Crowley, the scholar -- I mean Gates, the retard from Harvard, to have a beer with him in the WH. Good example, Hussein, touting beer drinking in the WH. Who paid for the education of Gates?

An apology is: "I'm sorry" or "I was wrong". We learned that in the 7th grade. As a 7th grader, my hearing is still pretty good. I didn't hear the President say he was sorry or he was wrong. Sarcasim intended.

The Cambridge police union acted stupidly in endorsing Obama.

Angel| 7.24.09 @ 11:53PM

LibReader/Jeremiah, what's with you and the seventh grade? Did something traumatic happen to you that year--why don't you share?

C'mon, you know you can trust us.

Angel| 7.24.09 @ 11:57PM

Jeremiah/LibReader; what's a "tanking apology?" Perhaps you meant--a tanking economy? We all know whose fault that is, little fascist lib.

Liberal Reader| 7.25.09 @ 12:36PM

I'm sorry. I never made it through 7th grade, so I am a little sensitive about the subject.

Oliver| 7.25.09 @ 12:47PM

So, how's the Conservative Revolution going? Good? Not so good? Still freaking out and acting crazy? Perfect. Carry on.

Missy| 7.25.09 @ 7:14PM

Actually, Oliver; the Conservative Revolution is going smashingly! Thank you.

With your radical and incompetent fascist-liberal leader tanking in the polls, I'm sure you fools are stocking up on anti anxiety meds.

Perfect. Carry on, morons.

Will the American People finally get a backbone and demand Mr. Obama act like a President - I believe all law enforcement officials, the national guard, EMS, fire man, and ANY person that puts their life on the line for this country should demand an apology from Mr. Obama - the man has no experience and loves to point fingers of blame (the character of someone that is totally incompetent and likes to point to other so he can hide behind the guise of knowing better!)

Slowly Mr. Obama is tearing this country apart and proving he is working for one class (with his leader Pelosi). He works for ALL Americans and I believe that every single law enforcement official should go on strike until Mr. Obama publicly states; "he was wrong and he acted stupidly".

Obama is proving he must be stopped - he has proven himself as a socialist and now as a President for one and only one class of people.

Americans, I implore you to demand he apologize and not over a "beer" in a private meeting in the White House, which is not a frat house Mr. Obama!

CHANGE THE BALANCE OF POWER THIS COMING ELECTION AND STOP THE DEMOCRATS FROM BULLYING AMERICA BECAUSE THEY CONTROL BOTH THE HOUSE AND THE SENATE!

It might of interest for some people at this web site to know that Conservatives and Libertarians do not like police resources and taxpayer dollars being used to arrest people under these circumstances.

Obama rarely promotes Conservative concerns (which makes him similar to George W. Bush) but a broken clock is right twice a day.

Despite the efforts of numerous forces on both the left and the right to put words in his mouth, all Obama has said so far was that the arrest was unnecessary -- which it was.

Move on to something else.

RonM| 7.28.09 @ 7:30PM

Gimme a break...
The instant proof was produced that the person he was questioning actually lived in the house Officer Crowley needed to simply drop the matter. After all HE is the one that is supposed to be a PROFESSIONAL in that situation. Short of a physical attack by Gates it was absolutely absurd to arrest him. If Officer Crowley can't take a little frustration from people who are being mistakenly accused of a crime he needs to consider a new profession.

Jeremiah| 7.28.09 @ 11:26PM

Hey, Blake and Ron--you fascist libs are all for the police state. This is what you get, morons.

Tough Talking Barack Obama: Bend Over | Sonoran Weekly Review links to this page. Here’s an excerpt:

…to harm our country while displaying such a blatant disregard for the interests of its citizens. Obama appears “tough” and quick to act when something he is passionate about catches his ear . . . like say fake racism claims. Where the hell is the “tough talk” when he is addressing terrorism or Iran?  Where is the “tough talk” when he is failing to get any dough from the Europeans? Where is the “tough talk” when he is trying…
