Rationing Life?

When President Obama talks about health care savings, he stresses the conversation we need to have about “end of life” choices.  You do the math.

Rationing Life?
By Asher Embry

“End of life” choices, euphemistically used,
Just means that the elderly’s care is refused.

That Bypass we need, who’ll decide if we’re able?
Not our Doc. It’s the actuarial table.
And Barack thinks our Grandpa acts piggish if he
Seeks relief from his pain by replacing his knee.

O insists if we’re old we’ll most likely confuse
All the “end of life” options from which we can choose.
So he’ll mandate a bureaucrat comes for a chat
And he’s hoping we’ll come to our senses and that
We’ll forego old age health care and won’t give a yelp
When they say: “We’re the government, how can we help?”

Barack thought no-one’d notice the “savings” they boast
Means that old folks stay healthy or else they are toast.

Asher

You can do silly rhyme
but this is surely not the time.

The time is here for grown up's verse
before blood needs be shed.

The time is now for verse be drawn
from otamatapeia.

Swords to crang, on shields to brang
for freedom's song to peal

And in the hearts of Americans
once again we seal,

Our lives, our fortunes, to the public weal.

And if we cannot hold sacred
the honor our fathers passed to us.

Then we shall wander quietly into the night of history, and accept the free verse of the brand, burning in our flanks...

I'm with you, Old Tex: I'd rather die on my feet than live on my knees. I could do no less as my father's daughter.

God bless, Angel
You know, the more I think about it, those of us blessed with good dads are way ahead of the game.

Our poor bastard president never was blessed that way. My goodness, just picture his formative years.
OK! (smile)
please die prone. You make a smaller target and can X off more bad guys if it comes to that.

I suspect that ObamaCare will also lead to forced abortions of unborn babies suffering from various defects whose estimated medical cost is deemed too high.
