On another note, Republicans Lugar, Martinez and Snowe have come out in support of Sotomayor----------they SHOULD BE targeted at re-election and alternative, conservatives should be run against them!!!!!

He needs to have several suits at the ready.
The lefty stooges will be out to get him.
He needs to identify the networks that will pay money in their campaigns to discredit him and he must go after them.
He cannot allow himselft to be outflanked.

Sen. Lugar has been a lost ball for several years now. Apparently, thinking of himself as one of the "wise old men" of the Senate has taking a life of its own. When it really counts, Lugar will talk himself into "rising above party" and voting with the democrats who have a habit of rarely "rising above party". Oh, Lugar gets invited to the Sunday morning talkshows to dispense his wisdom.

Tell you what Dick, represent your voters and let your profile as the "wise hand in the Senate" go and you won't have to miss Church because those Sunday talkfests won't invite you anymore.
