Government should not bail out car companies as government should not have bailed out banks that have ruined our economy knowingly and willingly. Car companies should have given consumers what they needed instead of junk. Greedy bankers should have vanished instead of declaring profits.
If federal government is bailing out car companies with MY tax dollars, yes than, WE the people OWN that company!

The new CEO of Chrysler is highly recommended by the NY Times. Not mentioned in that recommendation is that the new chief is a personal friend of the publisher. He is also former boss of the Steel Workers Union where he destroyed that industry.

Lee Iacocca gave a struggling Chrysler the K Car and the minivan. What will Deese bring to the table for GM? I'm willing to bet that whatever it is, it won't be on the same level and he is will be no Iacocca. Of course it wont matter, Deese could be second coming of Einstein and only be allowed to do what the O wants. Why haven't I seen "Government Motors" or "Obama Motors" decals on cars yet? People must be too proud still.
