President
Barack Obama said his $787 billion stimulus bill "has
worked as intended" as he pushed back against Republican
criticism that his recovery program has failed to rescue the
economy.
"It has already extended unemployment insurance and health
insurance to those who have lost their jobs in this recession,"
Obama, who is traveling today in Ghana, said in his weekly
Saturday radio and Web address. "It has delivered $43 billion
in tax relief to American working families and business."
Obama spoke after stocks fell for a fourth week on concern that
an economic recovery will be delayed. A government report last
week showed that employers cut 467,000 jobs in June and the
unemployment
rate rose to 9.5 percent, the highest since 1983.
Given how well the first "stimulus" has worked, obviously we need
a second one. At least, that's what the usual suspects in
Washington think!
And if you don't believe that bald-faced lie, you are a racist
somehow. So elegant, so simple, so effective - like taking candy
from a baby (or money from the taxpayers) with a complicit media.

He's right if by "...working as intended," he means breaking the
economy, throwing millions more out of work, and making everyone
more dependent on BigGov(OnePartyRule).org.

No, it didn't work as he intended. Unemployment was supposed to
be much lower than it currently is. You cannot state that the
economy was worse than we expected and yet the stimulus worked as
expected and have both statements be true.
He's a fancy pants shooter. He talks and talks and doesn't even
listen to himself.
