Upon being asked to comment on the extramarital adventures of South Carolina's Republican governor Mark Sanford, tax fighter Grover Norquist was blunt:

"I disagree with the idea that this shows problems for the modern Republican Party," said Grover Norquist, the president of Americans for Tax Reform, a group that applauded Mr. Sanford's attempt to refuse some federal stimulus funds earlier this year. In reference to the fiscally conservative philosophies of Mr. Ensign and Mr. Sanford, he joked, "I think instead it shows that sexual attractiveness of limited-government conservatism."

Oy vay. We gotta get a spam filter.

Vadum -- will a spam filter eliminate posts from people who believe the CRA is responsible for the housing bubble? Perhaps all of those multi-million dollar homes rose in price because they were all CRA related.....

Thanks for the opportunity....

Grover Norquist is the same tool who tried Muslim outreach, supported Bush's shamnesty and was paling around with Jack Abramoff. If this is the jerk we're going to pretend has any answers, we're doomed. If there's one clear easy first correct step for the GOP to take, it's ignoring anything Norquist says.

I urge you guys in power in the GOP-STOP PAYING ATTENTION TO BELTWAY DOOFUSSES AND THEIR BUZZWORDS.It isn't that complicated. Can we get someone to say so, or are the "leaders" going to keep farming the thinking and speaking to fools like this cretin?

Bob, if AmSpec gets a spam filter--you'll be gone.

Illicit liason with an Argentine mistress? This whole sordid affair sounds like the kind of date movie our grandparents went to back in the 40s!
