The Waxman-Markey cap and trade bill has passed the House by a vote of 219 to 212. Unless momentum carries it, the legislation faces an uncertain future in the Senate. But I continue to believe this is lose-lose for the Democrats as they seek to pass the first broad-based tax increase of the Obama administration.

UPDATE: 44 Democrats voted no; eight Republicans voted yes.

The 8 "Redcoats" need to be investigated to see what they sold out America for! It is time to see what their souls were worth! And then flood their offices with so many complaints ,they should be afraid to come out of their offices!
Investigate,investigate, investigate!

All
At Least the Tenn Dem, Tipton County, paid attention, A NO vote. One Dem that, this time, got the message.
We have seen how close the OBNA folks nearly lost this one. We are on the 10 yard line, to the demise of the USA Electorate Capitalistic System. With the Healthcare, Cap/Trade, EPA regs, FDA regs, and the continued Immigration, Education rules adjustmens, we can expect a 2009 win by the OBNA. We, the Conservatives who are making these goal line stands, can hold, we can stop the flow, all is not lost till the last yard is gained.

My "dimmocratic" congressman voted yes on this monstrocity and I will do every thing I can to get him out of office when he comes up for reelection

I again beg my fellow conservatives in the states of the 8 Republicans [see Matthew Vadum's comments, ie HAIL STORM...], who voted for this legislation, to vote against them at re-election time
