This Walpin-Gate scandal deserves to get more and more attention. EVERY single senator who voted for the Inspectors General Reform Act ought to be asked, repeatedly, why they aren't demanding an investigation of the president for the firing of Mr. Walpin. As Jake Tapper reports, the White House is now playing hardball against Mr. Walpin. Herewith, a warning: The White House is playing with fire in going this route. I won't detail why right now, but trust me on this -- and watch this space, and watch the Washington Times for more. The White House is acting like thugs. Their thuggishness must not be allowed to stand.

Mr. Hillyer,

You and I and anyone else can stand on a mountain top and proclaim all day long that this "thuggishness must not be allowed to stand", but it will stand as long their thugs run things.

"thuggishness" ... ?

Quin, they're NOT acting 'like thugs'-----THEY ARE THUGS! [and have been since their political upbringing in Chicago, mob-style politics]!!!!

Chicago politics may not play well in the "majors" of WA DC, but that won't let the intimidation the administration in applying from finance, to autos and now to the law for special prosecutors from trying to push as far as they are allowed.

Has there ever been a president this corrupt. One who disregards the laws. I know the Libs hated W but (I liked W mostly)he followed the law. He tried to do the will of the people and what was good for America (not just the UAW). They hated the war but congress voted on that. I could see Obama starting a war on a whim. Just calling a general and tell him to invade Israel. Obama's beyond incompetent and corrupt. It's like Corrupt and Incompetent made a baby and It was aborted in the 3rd trimester but lived, although with horrible brain damage. That's the Obama presidency

Didn't Stalin use charges of 'confusion' or 'mental illness' as a way to silence his opponents? Weren't many of these dissenters 'hospitalized' for life? How about Communist re-education camps?

This is disgusting behavior by Obama and his liberal administration, and beyond scary-- these thugs have to be stopped.
