With the unemployment rate at 9.4 percent, the Obama
administration
announced today a new set of plans to accelerate the spending
of stimulus money and "save or create" 600,000 jobs over the
summer. In case you're keeping score at home, since the economic
stimuls legislation passed, the U.S. economy has
lost over 1.6 million jobs. But the White House has claimed
the program has been succeeding, because it saved or created
150,000 jobs.
