Six thousand words and the words "terror," "terrorist," or "terrorism" do not appear even once.

Obama is a child. He talked to a billion people like a five year old graduate of conflict resolution would lecture a six year old bully. Why is it OUR fault muslims don't like America? Obama never even considers that maybe, just maybe, muslims share a bit of the blame for their view of the world. Tell Islam to clean up it's own houes first, Obama, before blaming America for the mess that is the Islamic empire. The Persians, Arabs, and African Muslims all hate each other. The Sunni and Shia hate eachother.

Obama is a child in a dangerous world.

Stan...Ditto!

But get a chill down your spine: "What if he is following his own agenda...on purpose, instead of childishly?

Pete| 6.4.09 @ 1:17PM

This idiot is doing everything he can to either blow up America from the inside or allow it to be blown up from the outside. While accomplishing this goal, he will grab as much power and money as he can so he can laugh at America's smouldering ruins from some elitist perch when his time in office is through. By the way, I wouldn't at all be surprised if he does everything he can to install himself as our permanent king - so highly does he think of himself. He has already all but assured himself a second term by funneling $9B to "community organizers" (read - election fixers).

Old Texican| 6.4.09 @ 1:36PM

Pete, I gotta' agree with you.

It's depressing, isn't it? The temptation is to move to a red state, stockpile food and arms and wait. But that time is not quite here yet - he is overreaching so far that I have to still believe he can be stopped before he ruins the country entirely or before it is too late to go back and restore the country's greatness. I am embarrassed to admit, I never cared about politics much and actually never even voted before this past election (I'm 37) - but that gives me "hope" because I have to think there are more people like me who are sitting up and taking notice of the destructive things this self-annointed Messiah and his cronies are doing every day.

Judging by past performance, our President says a lot, then does not follow through, or goes a completely different route.
I'm afraid that, just as he has raised expectations to limits well beyond reasonable reach and then had to backtracked domestically, he will forced to do the same thing after his "Brave New Muslim World" speech.
Hope and change, sounds familiar doesn't it?
Well, get ready for a bunch of really pissed off Isrealis, and an Iran who just got $200 for passing Go.

This was a fantastic speech! I will hedge my bets a little tho. Mike's first sentence isn't without merit. Let's hope he is able to follow through on these ideas, and that blind hate and bigotry will start to become a thing of the past.

Pete, you hit it right on the head. And, there are MANY more like you. Your statement about Obama installing himself as our permanent king sent chills up my spine. I have been thinking, very recently, that same exact thing. Thought I might be paranoid for thinking that could happen. I picture the "unprecidented, emergency situation" that would "necessitate" him to remain in office. Kinda like Bloomberg, remember that? It happened real easily for Bloomberg (additional term), what's to stop Obama? I don't mind saying, I am terrified at this point.

Edmund Burke said it best, " The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men (and women!) to do nothing."

I'm not terrified--I'm determined! It's time to stand up, people.
