Does Ms. Parker have an editor? In today's
column she writes:
When Rahm Emanuel said, "You never want a serious crisis to go
to waste," he wasn't the first or the last to express the
sentiment. George W. Bush was accused of taking advantage of
Americans' post-Sept. 11 terror to expand executive power.
Could somebody tell her she can't think straight? The second
sentence doesn't follow on the first, unless being accused of
something is synonymous with expressing support for that
something.
