To an 81 percent tax increase. Aren't unreformed entitlements grand?

As I asked in earlier posts, "How can President Obama force ObamaCare on the nation if we already have 2 huge underfunded liabilities?"

We are already borrowing nealy half of what we spend, and that amount (the borrowed amount) equals the entire budget of Clinton's last year in office (2000-2001 budget was $1.6 trillion -exactly what President Obama borrowed for the current fiscal calendar). To compound matters, not even the Chicoms will lend to us anymore. We've had to resort to printing the money that we are borrowing. Thrty year T-Bills are now approaching 5% interest as it becomes clearer we are headed for fiscal disaster.

I'm not sure what the President is thinking. Perhaps he believes we can continue down this path indefinitely. I suppose we will all find out once the Treasury cannot meet its daily obligations.
