Venezuela's socialist strongman Hugo Chavez ordered the expropriation of some 60 oil service companies and assisted government-owned oil company PDVSA (parent of CITGO) in looting those firms unfortunate enough to have invested in the workers' paradise.

"To God what is God's, and to Caesar what is Caesar's," said the Venezuelan president as he stole at least a dozen oil rigs, more than 30 oil terminals, and more than 300 boats. "Today we also say: to the people what is the people's," said Chavez, who is a hero to his American friends and admirers including actors Sean Penn, Danny Glover, Kevin Spacey, Ed Asner, singer Harry Belafonte, and supermodel Naomi Campbell.

Ana Maria Ortiz and I profiled the pro-terrorist Chavez and his American buddies in Organization Trends last year.

The Financial Industry, Auto Industry--just a matter of time before Obama gets around to the Energy Industry. Just like his mentor.

In a just world some of those rigs would have been built by Francisco D'Ancona.

Bill Bailey| 5.11.09 @ 9:35AM

Yup, Hank. The oil service companies should have blown up the rigs instead of allowing them to be seized by that Communist Chavez.

So, Hugo, which one are you?

Chavez is a gift who keeps on giving. Every time you think he can't sink more into despotism, he proves you wrong.

Was the book he gave Lightworker about how to ruin a great country by insane nationalization?

Proof positive that socialism only works until you run out of other people's money.

Hey, Chavez makes working for government cool again....just like me!

is he nuts first the oil rigs should have been sabotaged by there workers before the take over, people listen to history it can only get worse, from this time on the people need to get off there ass and get out on the streets and tell the government what they feel, it is long enough, does he think he is god or Caesar or both in his mind there is no god just him so if we the people don't get up and chalenge him, we will all get what we deserve how does it go Abajo cadenas < remember the our national hymn, it will tell you what must be done.

love to all the people of Venezuela we need to get up and arm our selfs and remove this devil from his chair , we need the army on our side so we can remove it from power and put him in jail then judge him with the same stick he was judging every one else
