How Dumb Does Specter Think People Are?

Sen. Arlen Specter (D-Pennsylvania) has played the voters of Pennsylvania for suckers for years.

So is it any surprise that his new campaign fundraising website seems to be preying on well-intentioned donors?

It certainly looks like a website for some kind of cancer research charity. Alas, it is not.

Look at the evidence. For almost 30 years, PA residents have been voting for a Dem in R's clothes. Then, they re-elected Murtha, who weeks before called his constituents racist, redneck rubes. The state went to Obama, even after he called them bitter clingers (to guns and religion).

Suffice it to say my birth state just may be made up of some of the dumbest folks in the country.

I, too, am a resident of PA, and, sadly, all of these comments regarding voters around here are true. How dumb does Specter think people are? Just as dumb as they've proven themselves to be, over and over again, much to the delight of Murtha, Specter, "Fast Eddie" Rendell, etc. As a bumper sticker I've seen more than once says, "Proud to live in a blue state." Indeed, so much to be proud of...
