State and federal officials intensified their response to
the swine flu
outbreak on Tuesday, with President Obama
asking Congress for $1.5 billion in supplemental funding.
Someone should keep track of the magnitude of this ask vs. the
magnitude for less important things...like "volunteerism." Come
to think of it, let some ACORNers go help with the outbreak and
if they get infected, at least our taxes will go down.
