A Specter of Calamities to Come?

Reason's Matt Welch on Arlen's big move:

As a pox-on-both-houses type, and someone who genuinely believes that most interesting political developments will take place far outside the racket's most "professional" arenas, I am always delighted to be reminded of the commonalities between the two big parties, particularly concerning their behavior in power. Throat-clearing aside, this strikes me as no favor at all to the Democrats. By choosing to die on the hill of the stimulus package of all things, Specter reinforces whatever notion there is that stimuli and bailouts are Democratic, not Republican, pet toys. Since professional Republicans are currently scattered in the wind, trying desperately to latch onto the anti-stimulus/bailout Tea Party movement, cementing that divide may come back to haunt Democrats when those policies (inevitably, I think) become so derided that even Barack Obama's impressive popularity can't rescue them.

For decades, we have endured the heavy Socialist/Marxist boot of the ACLU, ACORN and other America-Hater organizations who take every opportunity to attack and erode our magnificent Constitution.

Here’s a few questions... where in the hell is the so-called conservative legal organizations and self-described Constitutional legal scholars. Where is the Landmark Foundation, et al...

• Why aren't these so-called constitutional lawyers raising HOLY HELL? Why aren’t these conservative lawyers combining their resources in a coordinated national effort to attack the Socialist/Marxist unconstitutional agenda??

• Why aren't they suing to impeach Dodd and Frank for their corruption, extortion and collusion, and every other career-politician who have repeatedly violated their sworn oaths to uphold and protect the Constitution?

• Why aren't they challenging the ACLU with law-suits, counter-suits, more counter-suits and jamming up the entire Socialist/Marxist strategy?

• Why are these conservative lawyer organizations allowing the financing of ACORN and other Socialist/Marxist organizations with millions of taxpayer’s dollars so these radical groups can continue to subvert our Constitution?

• Why do they allow thousands of Federal and State laws that are clearly unconstitutional… why aren’t these laws challenged and struck down?

• Why aren’t activist judges being challenged, reversed and sanctioned?

• Why aren’t the main-stream media bias’ vigorously challenged and debated? Do any contemporary conservatives remember Bill Buckley’s Firing Line?

• Why aren’t conservative lawyer organizations demanding our own “Fairness Doctrine?” For every Socialist/Marxist position or opinion presented on the main stream media, why isn’t there a conservative opposing position or opinion of equal time, every time?

• Why are these conservative lawyer organizations allowing the Socialist/Marxist indoctrination of our children, generation after generation. Why are frauds and charlatans such as Al Gore and Michael Moore allowed to terrorize our little children with false doom and gloom scenarios?

The clear, concise and elegant language of the Constitution clearly exposes unconstitutional actions, policies regulations and laws.

SO WHAT’S THE PROBLEM????... or are “We, The Pawns” being sold a narcissistic and cruel lawyer’s deceptive, deceitful charade?

Is there a dime’s worth of difference between the left/so-called right lawyers that dominate politics? What do lawyers lust for… power, control, your money??? Is this simply a “bad cop/good cop” charade perpetuated on “We, The Pawns” by the Good-Old-Boy’s Esquire Club?

Did the great Sioux Indian Chief Sitting Bull, after dealing with government lawyers, correctly proclaim with eloquent simplicity and clarity, “Whiteman Speak with Forked Tongue?”
