Scandal! Obama Does NOT (Heart) Bush--Appointed Lawyers!

It seems a safe bet that the media and Democrats' Bush-era cries of They're politicizing of the Justice Department! will shift to something less histrionic under President Obama--like, maybe, Um, yeah, duh, of course they have to go?--but at least John Ashcroft is there to cushion the fall for four Bush appointees.

Not that any of this shows any sign of halting the endless crybabbying of the last batch to get shown the door, which is pretty pathetic even if Dan Bogden was forced to endure the most blatant campaign of anti-bachelor bias in history--pre-Jason Mesnick, anyway.

I can't remember reading if President Obama kept all the Bush Federal Distric Atorneys or not. Anyone know?

I realize that these claims are easy (and fun) to assume.

However, there just is no evidence that Obama has any kind of special hatred of Bush administration lawyers.

In fact, if anything, he seems eager to get this business over with.

Just think about it: he has a massive agenda he's trying to get through Congress. How is any of this helping him? Qui bono, dudes?

IF there was illegality, the Justice Department may act. That's there job. It doesn't seem likely they will, however, either way, and if Obama has his way, they won't.
