Where are the jubilant trolls?

The Bush and Franken squeaker victories are far more important. This race is almost meaningless, both for the current congress, and the next. After the next census, since this seat will end up in east central Texas, neither of these candidates would have stood a chance at reelection.

Eve Chairman Steele's initial job status depends on the Va/NJ governor's races.

More magic votes, eh? Just once, I'd like to see the D win outright instead of making a miraculous lawyer aided comeback to win.

Republicans need to stop recruiting career politicians like Tedisco.

The Republican party is dead. I do not see any credible party emerging yet to represent the conservative majority in this country, but the Republican party was a sham and is a failure.

I think it is down for the count.

That would be Barack Obama...

Obama didn't have to come back, of course, but I do think that it would have been a much closer election without voter fraud.

It's interesting that the Dems put on a nationwide fundraising/campaign push to get Democratic-party operatives into the Secretary of State positions all over the country.

Wow! Iknow it's ustate N.Y., but the Republicans couldn't make a case against the party (Craporats) responsible for their miserable lives?! Bush really screwed the GOP up if they are this pathetic!

Wasn't this supposed to be a test on whether a hard right conservative in a Republican district could (should) win? This is further evidence, albeit small, that Republicans need to move to the center -- especially on social issues. I know you hard right whackos will have a million reasons why this isn't true, but he evidence keeps on building. We RINO's will eventually become important in the party or the party will continue to become irrelevant.
