After linking earlier posts to Facebook I discovered a few more friends who reported in there.

Jennifer Butler estimates about 3,000 in Knoxville, Tenn.

Jonathan Bandy says 1,000+ in Morehead City, NC.

Many reports have been aggregated by the evil (in AP's eyes) Google as well.
