The late, great Leo Durocher was known for his great ad-libs, but he confessed in his autobiography, "Nice Guys Finish Last", that they were really "ad-libs thought out well in advance". Sounds like Biden has turned even that on its head, coming up with, years later, a response which would have sounded quite profound had it been delivered in a timely fashion, but never having another opportunity to deliver it. In fact, he sounds more like Costanza agonizing about having failed to articulate his
"jerk store" line.

I would say that is about as close as Carl comes to a throat punch. Maybe in the future we might see a hair plug or two get plucked. I would pay good money to see that.
