It looks like the Missouri state patrol won't treat conservative
bumper stickers as evidence of terroristic tendencies after
all.
Reports WorldNetDaily:
The chief of the Missouri highway patrol is blasting a report
issued by the Missouri Information Analysis Center and
promising immediate changes in the procedures through which it
was released to law enforcement agencies.
The report linked conservative groups to domestic terrorism and
cited as suspicious those individuals who may have bumper
stickers for third-party
political candidates such as Ron Paul, Bob Barr and Chuck
Baldwin.
It further warned
law enforcement to watch out for individuals with "radical"
ideologies based in Christian views, such as opposing illegal
immigration, abortion and federal taxes.
Chief James Keathley of the Missouri State Patrol has issued a
statement that the release of the report, which outraged
conservatives
countrywide, prompted him to "take a hard look" at the
procedures through which the report was released by the MIAC.
Of course, the real surprise of this initiative was not that it
existed, but that it arose first in Missouri rather than, oh, New
York or California!

Wasn't it Missouri where law enforcement officials were
threatening to prosecute "false" attacks on The One before the
election?
ruth| 3.27.09 @ 5:13PM
Yes, it was Missouri. This story reminded me of that. What's
going on there?

This country has become so liberal there appears to be no room

Missouri MIAC Documents Scandal Leads to Advisory on SPLC &
ADL
ALIPAC is issuing a national advisory to all local, state, and
Federal law enforcement agencies and officers, along with all DHS
Fusion Centers, a warning against any reliance upon faulty and
politicized research issued by the Southern Poverty Law Center
(SPLC) and Anti Defamation League (ADL).
A national scandal emerged in Missouri, after their MIAC Fusion
Center issued an eight page document which made many false
claims. The documents attempted to politicize police and cast
suspicion on millions of Americans. The 'Missouri Documents', as
they came to be called, listed over 32 characteristics police
should watch for as signs or links to domestic terrorists, which
could threaten police officers, court officials, and
infrastructure targets.

The interesting point about the state's response is not to
correct the racist anti-Americanism behind the policy and the
people who wrote it, but instead to center their investigation on
how the citizens were allowed to find out about it.

I would rather put a bumper sticker reading "I love America, and
I'm proud to be an American". You can be sure no "liberal"
does...

That is because it is not good to fight a strong conservative
with a third party.
Perry only supported the tea party and got on the band wagon so
he could "petend" conservatisn.

Guess there's just not that much difference between NY/CA and the other 48; even though you pretend there is.
